Not everything begins with an active first step.

Some things begin with simply stopping. Becoming still. Listening deeply to what is alive within you, beneath all the demands, expectations and thoughts.

Winter invites nature to draw back its energies and preserve them within. Outwardly, little seems to be happening –
and yet, deep down, something new is already taking shape.

The power of this quiet time invites you to follow this natural rhythm:

Where do you unnecessarily waste energy in your day-to-day life?
What helps you to regain your composure?
What do you long for when life quietens down around you?
What would you like to bring forth from deep within yourself?

This week doesn’t require you to come up with quick answers.
It gives you the space to become more aware of yourself again.

Your strength has not vanished.
Perhaps it is just too loud to be truly felt.

Time to land in yourself again.

REST
What lies beneath the surface
within you and can be felt?

REGENERATION
How do you wish to renew
and preserve your strength?

TRUST
What carries you
forward, even when
the next step is unsure?

The Power of Silence.

The winter season is associated with the quality of the WATER ELEMENT.
Water symbolizes depth, tranquillity, regeneration and trust in one’s own inner strength.

In winter, nature’s energy withdraws. It gathers itself, conserves its resources and, behind the scenes, lays the foundations for new growth. For us, too, this time can be an invitation not to continuously keep going, but to be more aware of how we use our own strength.

The water element helps you to recognize:
What drains you?
What strengthens you?
Where do you need more peace, protection and/or trust?

It is not about withdrawing from life. It is about reigniting power once again from your own inner source.

Calm is not the same as standing still.
It's where your strength can be renewed.

A week with time for yourself.

From 24 to 31 January, you’ll be guided through seasonal yoga and meditation sessions, group meetings, nourishing dietary tips and moments for personal reflection.

WITH FIONA, you will explore the qualities of water through a warming soft flow, and a gentle somatic, restorative yoga practice.
You’ll have the chance to slow down, become more aware of your movements and create space for inner balance to unfold.

WITH ELINA, you’ll focus on how you can maintain your strength through your diet. Warming, practical tips will help you nourish your body in winter and strengthen your sense of balance.

The schedule provides a clear framework – without overloading your week.
If you’re unable to join us live, the recordings will be available in the members’ area.

Would you like to know when the yoga sessions and our group meetings take place?
You’ll find all the dates at a glance in the weekly schedule.

After this week...

… you become more aware of what
gives you strength and what drains you.

… you have a clearer sense of where you need
more peace and protection.

… you can once again place greater
trust in your own rhythm.

… you move forward into the days ahead with
a sense of calm and inner strength.

In the silence, you can hear what truly moves you.

Perhaps your strength doesn’t lie in carrying on.

At the start of a new year, you don’t have to know directly where you want to go or what you want to change.
Could you give yourself permission to take some time at first to reconnect with what sustains you and what gives you strength?

This week invites you to become more still, to be more aware of your resources, and to trust what is taking shape within you – even if it isn’t visible yet.

Pause. Listen. Gather your strength and
trust in yourself again.

Seva project

In Yoga, SEVA (Say-va) is a Sanskrit word for service - how can we serve others and give back to society. Through my yoga practice and teaching, I aim to give back to my childhood community in a small and meaningful way. Since I grew up in South Africa, this is where my heart lies in an attempt to empower young children in the Lidgetton community where it is often challenging to have hope and see the light. Our small Angel Ruth’s Soup Kitchen is a space where the children can go for a warm meal, as well as to a space where they know they are safe and cared for, can play freely and learn.

I offer a percentage of my teaching earnings back into this community, knowing that is is well used and goes directly to the source. To support the growing needs in the Lidgetton community, we set-up Lucky Beans e.V. in Germany in 2015. Through our charity status we are able to offer the possibility of EU citizens receiving a tax reclamation from any donation you may wish to make.
