  • Balanced yin-vinyasa practices for all levels.
  • Combining stillness practices and movement practices to support a healthy body and steady mind.
  • Included in most of my classes are elements from Critical Alignment yoga, where we slow the practice right down, learning to rest in awareness of ourselves through alignment of the physical body, especially the spine.
  • All these practices aim to meet you where you are, and allow you to dive into your own inner transformation with attentiveness.

Monday Basic Yin-Vinyasa Flow
Starting from relaxation and moving into a steady flow practice to build strength, stability and inner balance.
* Good for those who wish to have a manageable challenge, and are learning the foundations of a flow practice.

Wednesday Back & Pelvic Floor Stability
This close-to-the-ground practice supports inner & outer stability through a combination of back, core and leg strengthening asanas. A feel-stable practice!

Wednesday Soft & Slow Practice
This close-to-the-ground practice supports joint mobilisation, gentle stretching, restorative poses, yin yoga, & breathing practices for inner balance. A practice to feel well, and balance body-mind state. These sessions are also designed to support those in and after cancer treatment/diagnosis. 

Tuesday & Thursday Early Bird Flow
A steady flow practice for 30 minutes.
Start your day feeling grounded, balanced and energised.

Thursday Yin & Restore Practice
Deep, long holdings & somatic movements to target and activate joint sites and soft tissue for body healing and balance. The restorative aspect of the practice, calms body, mind and emotions, as well as boosting body systems. 
* Supportive for those who have injuries, pain, recovering from illness, depressed, sleep issues, exhausted, wish for a quiet practice, love yin yoga!

Friday Flow  
A dynamic mixed level class which meets the needs of the group.
Black strip or roll work, combined with Sun Salutation elements.  

Friday Asana Alignment
A slow class focusing on alignment through longer holdings of poses, as well as using the Critical Alignment props to strengthen and stabilise the body.

Play yoga for children
Yoga is a powerful, simple, fun tool to help children manage better in their daily lives, and feel well in their bodies and minds.
Using games, stories and interactive activities, the children learn concentration skills, effective breathing techniques to calm and balance, and appropriate yoga forms for their age.

Nell Lindsell (Founder of YogaBugs) explains that regular practice of yoga can reap these rewards for our children:
• Breathing exercises improve concentration and energy levels.
• Relaxation techniques clear the mind, allowing for better memory retention.
• Postures help recharge a weak immune system and strengthen the core, stabilizing muscles in the abdomen and back.
• Posture work also helps tone the body and reduce obesity, maintaining a child’s natural flexibility which can start to shut down from an early age.
• Yoga classes help develop creativity and self expression, and improve self-confidence through vocalization techniques and postures designed to release day-to-day anxieties.

In this 3-hour workshop, you will have the opportunity to experience reconnecting to yourself through your body, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Özlem and Fiona will melt together their passion for integrative movement and stillness yoga practices, and the power of observing contemporary whirling dance.

  • Soft somatic-based yoga practices guided by Fiona
  • Stillness meditation, while observing Özlem whirling

Fiona
This framework and life-path called “Yoga” has been an integral part of Fiona’s life for over 30 years now, with beautiful elements woven into it to make it her own unique treasure chest of resources. She has been teaching and offering trainings and retreats for over 20 years.
In this workshop she will share soft integrative yoga practices, supported by the science of heart-brain intelligence, to create a unique heart-focused experience for all.

Özlem
Özlem is specialized in economic and scientific communication, having founded her own startup dedicated to more diversity in tech. Recognized as the IT Woman of the Year 2023, she also serves as an ambassador for Stanford University and is a published author. In her quest for balance and harmony in life, Özlem engages in Contemporary Whirling Dance and bioenergy therapy, which she complements with sound baths. Her interests reflect her commitment to personal well-being and professional excellence.

Der Herbst ist die perfekte Zeit, um innezuhalten, loszulassen und sich auf das Wesentliche zu konzentrieren.
Unsere Fasten- und Yoga-Woche bietet dir die Möglichkeit, deinen Körper und Geist von der Fülle des Sommers zu reinigen, Überflüssiges loszulassen und in die Ruhe und Klarheit zu kommen, die die kalte Jahreszeit mit sich bringt!

Seva project

In Yoga, SEVA (Say-va) is a Sanskrit word for service - how can we serve others and give back to society. Through my yoga practice and teaching, I aim to give back to my childhood community in a small and meaningful way. Since I grew up in South Africa, this is where my heart lies in an attempt to empower young children in the Lidgetton community where it is often challenging to have hope and see the light. Our small Angel Ruth’s Soup Kitchen is a space where the children can go for a warm meal, as well as to a space where they know they are safe and cared for, can play freely and learn.

I offer a percentage of my teaching earnings back into this community, knowing that is is well used and goes directly to the source. To support the growing needs in the Lidgetton community, we set-up Lucky Beans e.V. in Germany in 2015. Through our charity status we are able to offer the possibility of EU citizens receiving a tax reclamation from any donation you may wish to make.
